Last Keyboard post

Finally, I recommend using keyboard shortcuts with reckless abandon. Located in the Keyboards settings, it's an awesome tool for making you a faster and more accurate typist. I have a few favorites. "What the what?" which I poached from Liz Lemon appears when I type "wtw". I also have a shortcut for "wtf" in case I'm feeling less Liz Lemon and more like myself. I have shortcuts for my email addresses too "j@can" will type out jeffrey@cannonchicago.com. So that's a huge timesaver. I also have my phone numbers and addresses with shortcuts. Here's another five dollar tip: if type ahead is always changing something or never getting a word, phrase or abbreviation correct (and auto correcting it every time—driving you NUTS!) then you can create a shortcut for it. Essentially teaching (or un-teaching) the type ahead dictionary. Whew!!!! That's like half a dozen tips in one article!
